We had a private tour from San ignacio to Tikal and had a awesome experience! We had three adults and two children ages 3 & 5. Our tour Guide Marco Castellanos was amazing and was really accommodating especially traveling with two small children. Border crossing was easy. Wonderful informative tour through the park. We loved stopping at the co-op and my five year old even made tortillas at the stand next store which was another highlight. Highly recommend this tour!

The guide got us there from Belize quickly with a very nice lunch. Guide at Tikal was excellent. People were awesome.

Could not wait until we got home to the US to sing Yume’s praises! We opted to meet at the border (we drove ourselves from the San Ignacio area) and from the moment we met Yume, we knew it was going to be a great day. She is so kind and funny and knowledgable — we had an absolute blast all day. In addition to learning a lot about ancient and contemporary Mayan culture, we also learned so much about Guatemala and its relationship to Belize. She was patient — we never felt rushed — and she took the time to point out Howler and Spider monkeys along the way. We would absolutely take a tour with her again. There is too much to see of Tikal in one day, but what we were able to see was absolutely breathtaking. Bring water with you — we only had about 2.5 L total and it was just enough - and make sure to wear sunblock and bug spray. Would absolutely recommend TikalGo to friend — they were communicative and helpful on the spot—but we will be suggesting to ask for Yume if she’s available! Note that if you go with the “meet at the border” option, you will need to go through the first step of customs yourself, and your guide will meet you as you check in on the Guatemala side.

Very professional, 100% trustworthy. Simply tell them what you're looking for, they'll put together all arrangements. Always on-time, all minor details are worked out. Don't worry about the prices, you can give them a blank check and they won't try to take advantage of you.

We had a wonderful trip to Tikal with TikalGo. Our tour guide was Christian who met us at the border (we were in Belize) after Douglas picked us up from the hotel. Douglas was a great driver and I enjoyed talking with him. Christian was knowledgable and friendly and let us go at our own pace around Tikal. I also told him how I was interested in seeing the wild life and he was excellent at spotting some of the more hidden creatures and pointing them out. We saw toucans, a margay cat, howler monkeys, spider monkeys, coatimundi, and a slaty-tailed trogon to name a few. Tikal is amazing as well...spectacular views from the tops of the temples you can climb. Christian didn't go to the top of most of the ruins with us, I'm sure he's done this countless times and it's hard on the knees (at least it was hard on my knees!), but he usually available to answer questions when we came back down. We had fun at this unique place and got some great photos!

My boyfriend and I celebrated our 4 year anniversary in Guatemala and Tikal Go made the entire day fabulous! They picked us up from our hotel in San Ignacio and helped us cross the border where we met our tour guide and driver for the day. I needed some coffee from the early morning start and when they heard it was our anniversary, they made some calls and gave us the most pleasant surprise! They took us to this place for breakfast (Ernesto's I think?) and had an AMAZING table set up for us in this beautiful hut over the water on this huge lake. It was so pretty and reminded me of those bungalows in Tahiti. The water was really that blue. I was so touched that they put that together for us! The tour itself once we got to Tikal was equally wonderful. Benidicto, our guide, was incredibly knowledgeable and had an answer for all one thousand questions my history buff boyfriend had for him. He also took plenty of pictures for us and knew so much about the flora, fauna, and animals as well. Midway, Milton (our driver), met us with cold towels to freshen ourselves up and set up an area where they had drinks waiting for us near one of the ruins. Such great service!! Benidicto showed us where to go for the best views and pictures and was such a lovely tour guide. We had a great lunch there in the park where Carlos, the owner of Tikal Go, introduced himself to us and made sure we were having a great time. He was also very lovely and had great communication with us leading up to the tour. We were able to stop at a souvenir shop to pick up some goodies on the way back to Belize where they sold coffee, chocolates, handmade bags, and lots more. The entire experience was exceptional! Big thanks to Benidicto, Milton, and Carlos for making this one of the best tours we have ever taken anywhere in the world! Couldn't recommend them more!

Loved our tour with Christian. He was very knowledgeable and accommodating with our group. Crossing the border from Belize to Guatemala was a breeze as we were walked through with Christian greeting us on the other side. Tikal is a very impressive Mayan site and if you have an interest in history this is a can't miss stop.

We absolutely loved our experience with the company. Since we start booking our tour Carlos was always ahead answering our questions, very quick response! On our day we had a driver picking us up from our hotel in San Ignacio, he drove us to the boarder and helped us to go through faster.. than our amazing tour guide was there waiting for us.. he was so knowledgeable, very patient and was able to transmit his passion to us. We really recommend Carlos and its team. Thank you very much!

Wow! What an astounding place and tour! Our guide, Noel was excellent. He was patient, friendly, kind, extremely knowledgeable. He taught us so much about the Maya and the ruins. He made the fascinating beliefs and knowledge of the Maya come alive. He tailored the trip to our needs and let us explore at our own perfect pace so everyone in the tour was inspired. I am still feeling elated. We came from San Ignacio in Belize. TikalGo picked us up on time and made the border crossing easy and safe. Lunch in beautiful place was included. I highly recommend this company! Thanks so much!

I had the privilege of going with Carlos and his team to Tikal. We were staying in San Ignacio, Belize and we didn't want to get herded like cattle with other large group tours they usually have, so we went with TikalGo's private tour. We are so glad that we did. Everything from booking to finish was a breeze and so friendly and professional.
They picked us up from our hotel and help us crossed the border, where we are greeted by our guide from Guatamala side. Then stopped to get breakfast before entering the park.
Do the private tour with them. Theres much more you can experience on your own pace. Our guide Christian was absolutely amazing and took us to everything that we wanted. I can't recommend them enough. You have to see Tikal! Oh they also provide lunch on your tour!

I'm sure it would cheaper for you to take the ferry to Belize City and get picked up from there. Just make sure u dont miss the last ferry back to San Pedro!
