We are booked to take the Normandy tour on Saturday, April 13. We are concerned that it appears the Saturday yellow vest demonstrations/riots take place close to our designated meeting space at 6 Avenue de Wagram. Have there been any issues with transportation and safety around our departure time (7 AM) and/or return time?

Hi Llhp,
No worries! The yellow vest protesters usually aren’t awake at 6:45am let alone out on the streets protesting anything. Our meeting point has been at the same spot throughout all of the protests and we have never seen anyone at all.
In the evening when the tour gets back to Paris their protests are already over. But just to be 100% sure the guide always checks in with us to verify no protesters are still out loitering around our meeting point.
Since November when they first started protesting until today, March 19, we have seen no one at the meeting/drop off point.
So the only excitement you’ll get at our meeting point is when you meet the guide and take a seat in our van for the ride to Normandy.
All my best,
