I highly recommend this 3 hour culinary tour. Our group of 8 stopped at great restaurants, learned some history, and totally enjoyed our time together. Our guide, Joshua, was excellent in demeanor, knowledge and made our tour truly memorable.

This tour was great. The food was enough without being too much. The tour included 6 different places with different food and drink.
Deshawn was our tour guide and he was the best. He knew the places and he also gave cultural information during the tour.

John and Shawn was great and informative. The tour consisted of a variety of food bites and restaurants. Small places and while on the loop of Ellis Square they were hidden gems. The pace was good with rest stops in squares in between walking and eating.

Our tour guide John was great and knew a lot about the city despite the fact that he had only lived in the city for 3 years!
Our meeting place & first stop on the tour was 22 square which was a super hip space. The first course was shrimp & grits. As I'm allergic to seafood, the tour was nice enough to alert each of our locations to provide me with an alternate selection. I cant remember exactly what it was, but it was topped with pork belly. It was good albeit greasy which was my husband's comment about the shrimp grits. We then went to a British place that served delicious savory pies. From there we went to a Scottish pub that served cottage pie which was also good. Then we went to another pub which was a super cool space that served shrimp & chicken wings. From there we went to another pub that served another pork belly item. The final place was a carry out place that served some sort of fish taco and they made me a veggie taco which came with a fried donut stick. We ate it in a local park square. We ended our tour at the Savannah Bee company where we did a honey tasting. I was expecting more of a dessert place for our final stop, but the honey WAS tasty!
None of the places were bad, but none of the places I wanted to return to except for maybe the savory pie place. I was expecting more culinary and less pub food. While I liked the English & Scottish places, I was expecting more traditional Savannah and perhaps more of a mix of pub and upscale cuisine so you could really get a feel for the variety of culinary options. We did get plenty of food and we did cover a lot of different areas near the waterfront.

We loved this tour. We sampled some great food and learned some history along the way. The tour covered a lot of the downtown and waterfront area. We even went back to one of the restaurants covered in the tour for dinner and drinks during our stay. The guide was excellent, too. Well worth the price.

This was a great way to learn about a really cool city. Nicole went above and beyond to make sure her whole group had an enjoyable time. Highly recommend for the non foodie who wants to taste great food but get the history behind this cool city!!

My mom and I were visiting Charleston and we decided to take a day trip to Savannah. We wanted to taste the local flavor in the south and decided to book a culinary tour in Savannah.

We could not ask for a better experience. Our group was small and it consisted of My mom, myself and two other young ladies.

Rhett ,our tour guide ,was absolutely wonderful, he was very accommodating to my mom who was having a bit of trouble walking due to back problems.

The food we tried was absolutely delicious, and the restaurants were very good, the company at the table was absolutely wonderful, and Rhett was really knowledgeable about the area and the local cuisine.

I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Savannah who wants to try the local cuisine...this tour was money well spent.

The only complaint I have about the tour was the fact he was only expecting two guests instead of four. It was good thing we had an email confirmation, he would not have been expecting us.

I would definitely recommend Cobblestone tours, and the culinary tour as a must do if you visit Savannah. If you do, make sure you get Rhett as your tour guide!!

We spent a very enjoyable afternoon with Rhett. My husband and I were the only two participants on this particular day.
Our tour took us through the streets of historic Savannah with 6 or 7 stops for food and or beverage. Rhett gave us background on each of the places and the history of Savannah as we walked.
Food highlights included fried green tomatoes and crab salad, Macaroni and cheese eggroll, Savannah honey and Mead.
We were lucky enough to have entry into the cellar and second floor of Moon River Brewery. The second floor is inhabited by ghosts and has never been renovated because of the activity.
Highly recommend this tour!

I am normally very positive with my reviews, but we were very disappointed with this tour. I booked online and received an email confirmation, but it contained no details to confirm the date, time, or meeting place. I emailed back right away and never received a response. I called a couple of days before our trip and was told if you booked for the right date, your host will know your name. Well, that's not helpful.
The first stop at the Savannah Tap House and the Captain Crunch chicken and mac and cheese egg rolls were very good. It went downhill after that. Our group of four were the only participants in our tour, but only the one or two closest to our guide could hear her regardless of whether we were inside or outside. We also thought there was a quick stop at Paula Deen's restaurant but there wasn't. She said she'd take us past it. Later in the tour, we asked where it was but she said we didn't go that way because SHE wanted to walk in the shade. She did take us back but then said we may miss one of the other stops on the tour because they were closing. We did make it to that last two stops but felt there was no engagement from the business.

At the end, she asked us if we almost forgot her favorite part...her tip!

There were really no special foodie places and we thought we may walk through a neighborhood and see the architecture of beautiful homes. This just seemed like going up and down the same few blocks.

I don't recommend it.

This was an excellent experience. The guide, Rhett, was extremely knowledgeable - about the food and the history in the city. The portions were generous as well - we didn't have room for dinner! We would definitely recommend this tour.
