上海虹橋駅から高速鉄道を利用し、龍遊駅で下車しました。駅前のタクシー運転手が声をかけてきため、行き先を伝えて、50元で龍遊石窟に行ってもらいました。石窟は神秘的で独立したホールが
短い回廊で繋がっており、驚嘆しました。
一度石窟出口から出てしまうと、再入場を断られるので、中へ入ったらゆっくり時間をかけて見学してください。

千島湖からバスで龍遊に行き、洞窟を見ました。発見されて未だ２０年ほどしか経っていません。誰が何のために造られたのか、まだ解明できていません。不思議な気分でした。また見に行きたいです。

A large group of us toured on a rainy day. You start the tour with a short film which is very helpful. Make sure you wear comfortable non-slick shoes. There are several steps. Some areas require quite a bit of energy to climb. The Grottoes are beautiful. We actually sang in the bottom of one. Each one is large so don't worry about small tight spaces.

My wife's friend is from this area, and we had to go to her wedding. So along the way, I found out about this place. It was super easy to find, and really cheap. I think it was less than 100 rmb. The best part was that we went during the week, so we were one of four people inside!
It is really an amazing experience. The caverns are huge, and really give you a sense of he majestic. The whole time I was there, I kept thinking that this was something out of Egypt. While they have modernized the area with lighting and artwork in the stone, you still get the sense of the ancient. I still have no idea why they built this place, but I'm glad they did. Really cool.

Even after reading reviews, I was still really unsure what to expect from here. So when we stepped into the first cavern we entered (#7, I believe?) I was happily surprised to feel a sense of awe. It is a little annoying how they've added some modern artwork to the walls, but in my opinion that doesn't take away just how impressive these caves are. The only thing I was suggest is to go out of your way to start from Cave #1 and work your way up to #7 if you can (not positive that's an option, we just went in the first cave entrance we saw). #7 was the largest and #1 the smallest, so while #1 was still really cool I feel like we didn't appreciate it as much as we would have had we started from there.
Additionally, I would like to add that while there was a bus route by the train station, we waited for 10 minutes past the time it should have arrived/departed before giving up (after arriving 5 minutes before the scheduled departure). So if you're going to try and rely on the public transportation, just be warned. Both legit and not so legit cabs are abundant, though.

This is Indiana Jones stuff. Spectacular mysterious ancient caverns. Most are still full of water and neglected. The most bizarre thing however is the level of destruction that is going on to the ones that are open to the public. Concrete is being poured over them, lights and speakers are installed, large fish ponds are being built inside the grottoes, modern carvings cover the walls now. By trying to attract tourists Despicable greed is destroying and defacing the ancient cultural historical and architectural wonder!

This place was great I liked the caves and all the work that went into restoring them and making them viewable to the public,but they have done the usual chinese by adding in tacky coloured lights to parts of the cave and music as you walk around outside. Getting here was also a pain seeing as i couldn't manage to find any tours to and from the place and ended up being caught at the train station for 6 hrs waiting.

These grottoes were only discovered, or should that be re-discovered, in 1992. People had previously presumed they were just old fish ponds, but when they were drained, people learned that they were actually ancient grottoes that had been hewn from solid rock before the Qin Dynasty, some two thousand five hundred years ago. The construction methods, the lighting methods and the purpose of these grottoes are all cloaked in mystery. All that it is known is that enormous 30 metre high artificial caverns were carved out of siltstone by unknown people using unknown tools, demonstrating tremendous care in the process. The walls are all gouged in exactly the same pattern for example. The ancients also knew to leave at least three central pillars standing in an equilateral triangle formation to support the roof. This is certainly one of the best attractions in the south-western corner of Zhejiang province. Entrance tickets cost 65 yuan and several caves are now open.

今天和家人来到世界第九大奇迹龙游石窟，洞里面的高度很高，墙面上还刻有各式各样的纹理，里面蛮大的，根本就无法想象这里是怎样形成的，很大气，给人一种神秘的感觉，很有意思

号称世界第九大奇迹，参观后确实觉得壮观，赞叹古人的智慧和巧妙，但景区内除此外就没啥可看的了，不到半小时就可以看完。而且明显有现代雕刻的痕迹，比如墙上开凿的佛象等。
