Some rooms have small hair dryer and shower gel and soap in but not all.

You will be perfectly safe at the hotel and Carvoeiro itself. I understand some of the indifferent reviews but for what you pay and the position we find it ok. If you want super hotel go to the Tivoli but you will pay double the price. Other hotels long walk from town. We are going for the third time in September

Hi, our room had a stand alone bath and a separate walk in shower, hope this helps.

Obviously my post upset some people - I'm sorry for that. Yes its our second stay at Mirachoro Praia and we have already booked for next year, there are limited hotels in Carvoeiro and this just seems the most convenient for us - I agree its a bit tatty round the edges but its still good value for money - the staff yes can be indifferent but luckily we have not needed them. Our problem is we just love Carvoeiro and this hotel meets our needs for a late Autumn break, of course we would love to stay at the Tivoli but their price is double the Mirachoro price - and as I said we have stayed at both and the breakfasts are just the same at both.

Quite, there are plenty of bars nearby that show football all the time, so you can go and get drunk as a skunk, be anti-social and watch as much football as you like, just like you can in Manchester. Why bother to go somewhere nice ?
